Kaye Green was appointed as the CEO of Roosevelt County Special Hospital District dba as Roosevelt General Hospital & Clinics (RGH) in June 2017. RGH is a community-owned, independent hospital with 24 acute care beds, 24/7 physician-staffed emergency department, active surgical program, two Rural Health Clinics and two specialty clinics. Kaye is passionate about ensuring patients in rural areas have access to safe care of the highest quality that is on par with the best large, urban hospitals.

Kaye has been in healthcare for over 35 years, with 20 years as a senior executive. She previously served as CEO of a 150-bed health system in Salisbury, North Carolina and Interim CEO in El Paso, Texas. Prior to that, she was the Chief Operations Officer at large health systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico and St. Petersburg, Florida. Kaye began her healthcare career in her hometown of Amarillo, Texas, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration, with specialization in health administration, from Wayland Baptist University.

Kaye is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves as Board Member and Past President of the New Mexico Rural Hospital Network. She is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Hospital Association (NMHA), and she chairs the NMHA Quality Committee. She is very active in the community, having served as Honorary Commander of Cannon Air Force Base. Other community contributions include participation in the Roosevelt County Health Council, Eastern New Mexico United Way Board of Directors, Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, and the Five & Thrive Medical Availability Committee in support of Cannon Air Force Base. In July 2025, Roosevelt General Hospital was named by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top 100 community hospitals in the nation, and Kaye was named as one of 207 CEO’s “to know” – all unsolicited. Also in 2025, RGH received the “Outstanding Culture” leadership award by the Patient Experience Research Company (PRC). Kaye received the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Regent Award in 2021, and she was the recipient of a national award for advancement of nursing programs in 2016.
