Dr. Opeña graduated from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, NM with clinical rotations in eastern New Mexico. After completing a full spectrum of family medicine residency in Maine, she choose to return to New Mexico to practice. Her interests are rural medicine, women’s health, chronic management and treating patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
