We know health care is needed even when business hours are over. Welcome to FlexCare! We've rebranded our extended hours clinic to FlexCare. This service makes it convenient and easy to see a provider even if you don't have an appointment.

The RGH Clinic in Portales and Clovis, offers a no appointment family medicine clinic, called FlexCare. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. FlexCare provides an alternative to visiting the Emergency Room when you have a pressing medical issue but it isn't a medical emergency or if you cannot be seen by your primary care provider during regular clinic hours.

*On the second Friday of each month, the RGH Clinic in Portales, will open at 10:00 a.m., to allow our staff members to recieve training and education.

CARE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

We treat all ages and offer care for acute common illnesses and minor injuries just like your primary care provider. Wait times are usually very short and you can be assured of receiving RGH's high quality of care. While every attempt is made to see you as quickly as possible, wait times are based on the number of people seeking care as well as the seriousness of their condition. Conditions we commonly treat include:

  • Colds and flu
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Cuts, sprains, burns and other minor injuries
  • Strep throat and other sore throats
  • Upset stomach and diarrhea
  • Earaches and infections
  • Sinus infections
  • Pink eye and styes
  • Rashes and skin infections
  • Bladder and other infections
  • Other acute conditions
  • Sports physicals
  • Vaccinations

After your initial treatment during your extended hours visit, you will be referred to your primary care physician for follow up care. Routine problems should be managed by your primary care provider during regular business hours. If you don't have a primary care provider, the RGH Clinic has providers available to meet all of your healthcare needs. Patients are seen according to the level of urgency, as determined during triage. Patients without an appointment are typically seen on a "first come, first served" basis. Extended hours are open to both established RGH Clinic patients and the general public.
